About
Publishing is downstream of findings.
Annotated Thought is an independent research organization where engineering and writing are mutually constitutive. The website is the canonical intellectual home. The newsletter is the amplifier. The build is the first draft of the argument.
This is not a blog, not a newsletter, and not a personal brand site. It is a hub for findings — the artifacts of an inquiry that runs through code, prose, and primary sources at the same time.
Five pillars
Each pillar is a claim, not a category.
A category sorts what already exists. A claim asserts something about where systems, power, and structure intersect — and commits to defending it through the work. The five pillars below define the terrain this organization is willing to be wrong about in public.

The Researcher
Mohammed Alwedaei
Annotated Thought is the work of a single engineer-researcher. Every project, position paper, and pillar is shaped here. There is no editorial team and no content calendar — only the work, the interpretation, and what the interpretation warrants publishing.
Centralization is not an engineering default — it is a political choice. The build is how we prove the alternative exists.
